Indications for Oxygen Therapy

  1. Hypoxemia: Low arterial oxygen levels, defined as PaO2 < 60 mm Hg or SaO2 < 90% on room air.
  2. Respiratory Distress: Clients experiencing difficulty breathing or respiratory failure.
